چکیده

Cathelicidins, a family of host-defence peptides, are present in diverse range species, including fish, amphibians, birds, reptiles, and mammals. The evidence for the role these cationic antimicrobial peptides innate host defenses is convincing from data animal model transgenic experiments as well wildlife or domestic animals, indicating that protect against inflammatory immune system after induction by bacterial infection. In this study, we assessment transcription expression CATHL4 gene which encodes indolicidin, cathelicidin indigenous yellow cattle Vietnam. research focused on RNA samples extracted lung tissues lymph node collected diseased died infectious respiratory symptoms healthy were slaughtered food purposes. By quantitative real-time PCR, relative transcripts was determined analyzed using YWHAZ reference. results showed abundantly expressed at higher level than those ones. both infection states, nodes tissues. This indicated (indolicidin) may participate functions pathogens.

Study of MYB Transcription Factor Gene Expression in Some Bread Wheat Cultivars of Sistan Region, Iran

Drought, an abiotic stress, considered as one of the factors limiting food resources. The plant responses to adaptive to such a condition are accompanied with changes in the expression pattern of some functional as well as regulatory genes. The MYB proteins include a big family of transcription factors which are highly important in regulating development process and immunizing responses of plan...

FASN gene polymorphism in indigenous cattle breeds of Turkey.

The aim of this study was to determine the variants of the thioesterase (TE) beta-ketoacyl reductase (KR) domains of the Fatty Acid Synthase (FASN) gene, in the East Anatolian Red (EAR) and South Anatolian Red (SAR) cattle breeds. It has been suggested that the FASN gene is effective on fatty acid composition of meat in cattle. In this study, the genotype and allele frequencies of g.17924 A>G, ...

Lack of Association between Somatotropin Receptor Gene Polymorphism and Birth Weight of Iranian Indigenous Sistani Cattle

The objective of the present study was to determine polymorphism within the promoter region of somatotropin receptor genes in indigenous Sistani cattle (Bos indicus) and associations between this polymorphism and breeding value of birth weight. The pedigree structure was included by considering 1173 animals with 600 progeny birth weight data obtained from a Zhark breeding station in Sistan and ...

The cloning and expression of a gene encoding Old Yellow Enzyme from Saccharomyces carlsbergensis.

We have identified a gene that encodes Old Yellow Enzyme in brewer's bottom yeast. The open reading frame encodes a polypeptide of 400 amino acids with Mr = 45,021. Using the T7 RNA polymerase system, recombinant enzyme was expressed in Escherichia coli. 17 mg of Old Yellow Enzyme was obtained from a 3-liter cell culture, and the recombinant enzyme had NADPH oxidase activity. On fast protein li...

Cloning and Bioinformatics Analysis of the Gene Encoding Transcription Factor MYB44 of Sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) under Salt Stress Conditions

Sunflower oilseeds (Helianthus annuus L.) are widely used around the world. Soil salinity negatively affects many morphological and physiological traits of sunflowers. Oil seed sunflower line tolerant to salinity stress (AS5305) was planted in normal and salinity stress conditions in a completely randomized design with two biological replications in a controlled environment. Salinity was applie...
